His research interests include epidemiological study of TB and TB/HIV, mechanistic modeling of TB epidemics, economic evaluation of TB interventions (especially for diagnosis and case finding), and translation of TB data into appropriate frameworks for decision-making. David Dowdy is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology, International Health, and General Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins.
